About the project
ECOSTAR brings together experts in the English as a Foreign Language field from 12 Israeli and European institutions of higher education, and language assessment experts at the National Institute for Testing and Evaluation in Israel. The Inter-University Computation Center will develop the project’s platform and web sites, providing technical assistance for online learning and for the creation of an online repository of language learning materials. With support from the National Union of Israeli Students, this amazing team will revise the English as a Foreign Language curriculum at tertiary level in Israel, bringing it into line with 21st century needs, aligning it with EU standards and at the same time fulfilling the requirements of the Israeli Council for Higher Education.
